EMODIED WORLDS
- Field Lab, Wicklow -

Embodied Worlds is a bespoke lab designed to build essential skillsets for next-generation filmmaking through experimental, cross-departmental collaboration at the intersection of Film, TV, Games and XR - with location practice and sustainable production at its core.
This two-day intensive workshop trains screen practitioners to capture, process, and deploy photorealistic 3D environments using an array of techniques including 3D Gaussian Splatting, LiDAR and Photogrammetry - transforming real locations into Digital Twins that reduce the need for costly, carbon-intensive recces and travel.
This event is funded by Coimisiún na Meán under the
Media Skills & Development Programme.
